The Role
As Engineering Manager, you'll lead a skilled team – not by stepping back, but by staying close to the work. You’ll write code, review code, and be part of the full development life cycle. But just as importantly, you’ll listen. You’ll support your team by creating space for ideas, concerns, and feedback – and turning that input into action.
You’ll help your team grow, not just in skills, but in confidence and autonomy. You’ll shape how we work, how we learn, and how we continue to build a culture based on trust, transparency and shared responsibility.
In this role, you will:
Contribute actively to development – through coding, code reviews and discussions
Lead through example, and support individual growth through 1:1s and feedback
Encourage autonomy while providing guidance when needed
Support recruitment and onboarding of new engineers
Take part in salary reviews and negotiations to ensure fair and competitive compensation for your team.

You’re an experienced software developer who enjoys helping others grow. You value open communication, thoughtful leadership, and staying close to the team’s everyday work – listening, supporting, and turning feedback into action. You lead with trust and transparency, and create an environment where people feel safe to learn, contribute, and take ownership.
We believe you’ll thrive in this role if you:
Have solid experience as a developer, with a strong understanding of modern software practices
Have led or supported the growth of engineers or teams
Are a strong communicator and attentive listener who takes feedback seriously
Are comfortable working in an English-speaking environment
Appreciate working with diverse tech stacks and adapting to different contexts
