What you will do:
You will embody a dual role combining leadership and hands-on expertise as an Engineering Manager and Senior Consultant. Your responsibilities as Engineering Manager will revolve around providing essential tools, support, and mentorship to empower your direct reports, fostering their personal growth and enabling them to overcome challenges independently. As a consultant, your active coding involvement in client projects showcases your technical expertise and commitment to exceptional solutions. You lead by example, inspiring others and promoting a collaborative, learning-oriented environment. You will also play a role in salary negotiations, ensuring competitive compensation packages for your team.
Furthermore, your responsibilities are:
Recruit and onboard new team members, utilizing your recruitment skills to identify top talent that aligns with Piktiv's needs.
Ensure that the right personnel are allocated to the appropriate tasks and projects.
Work in conjunction with the director of the business area to develop and implement new processes, collectively enhancing efficiency and productivity within the team.
Not only understand the financial aspects of the company to contribute to informed decision-making and align initiatives with long-term profitability but also to assist staff in comprehending an aligning with the company’s objectives.

What we believe you have in your back pocket:
A strong background as a solid developer with hands-on experience in modern game engines.
Ideally, a track record of contributing to the development and publication of multiple games.
Proficiency in leadership and people management*, empowering you to build and foster high-performing engineering teams.
Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to build strong relationships with your direct reports and other stakeholders within the organization.
